Playing golf and swimming at the Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables, Miami

The Biltmore hotel was constructed in 1926 in a Mediterranean architecture and has 275 rooms. The hotel is member of “The Leading Hotels of the World” which stands for top quality. We never had the pleasure to stay in such a leading hotel but we occasionally visit them to enjoy a lunch, brunch or dinner. A room is too expensive for our budget.

We were surprised that the Biltmore Hotel had its own 18-hole golf course, practice putting green and driving range. From the hotel terrace, it just looks amazing. This is a true paradise for golfers but also for swimmers. We had lunch on the outside terrace next to the enormous swimming pool of 46m by 69m. This is the largest swimming pool we have ever seen in a hotel.

  3. What a lovely place indeed! It is amazing what hotels will offer- just to please their guests! A year ago we stayed at a resort outside of San Diego in Carlsbad, California, and they had a golf course and it's own shopping center included, and so many more extras! Looks like you are seeing some of the most lovely areas!

  4. What great shots, and that pool alone looks pretty awesome. Have you been to visit the Biltmore Estate in ??North Carolina??. It must be owned by the same family. That estate is pretty incredible also. Thanks for sharing, and hope you are enjoying the pre Christmas season.
