Kato Myli, the windmills of Mykonos

At Tourlos Bay and the most northen point of Chora, you find the famous windmills of Mykonos. They were used like in The Netherlands to grind wheat but they no longer in operation. Now it is a tourist attraction. In one windmill you now have a private house, and in another one a museum with shop. They all have a round shape topped with a tatched roof.

  4. I have been reading your back posts. Your photos of Israel were very good. You have a post about the oldest church in the world, originating in 326. Well my father’s family is Armenian and has always told me that Armenia was the first country to become Christian. They told me that the Etchmiadzin Cathedral built in 301-303 in Armenia was the oldest. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vagharshapat,_Armenia .) It looks like you had great weather there.
Your dance videos are so much fun to watch – that tango is always my favorite. Your photos of Mykonos are stunning. I went there years ago but in November. There were no tourists. I stayed at a small hotel but only had my film camera. I was alone but had a great time walking all over the island.
